Out here in north jersey, zone 5 winters make hiring landscapers a crapshoot, but I finally built a solid team of 5 guys last year using Aspire for scheduling our commercial mow and blow contracts. We hit $350k in revenue this season, up 40% from last, and the key was paying them $22/hr plus bonuses for finishing jobs early on those Stihl brush cutters without overtime bleed. Guys in the Lawn Care Business Owners Facebook group kept telling me to fire the slackers sooner, and damn if they weren't right. Now we're quoting $5k installs for sod and retaining walls with Echo blowers keeping sites clean, and no one's quitting mid-season anymore. Proud as hell, feels good to not be the only one busting ass on every job.

deer? in jersey it's more like potholes that swallow whole mowers. had one flip my bobcat last spring, cost me 2k in repairs.

nice work. for bonuses, i tie em to customer reviews on the install jobs.

$350k in zone 5? jealous af, my crew barely hits 200k with all the snow plowing downtime.

snow plowing is gold if you got the right attachments for the kubota.

$22/hr plus bonuses? my guys would riot for that in this economy lol.

proud moment for sure, but watch the workers comp premiums skyrocket with a bigger crew.

yep, mine jumped 30% after adding three mulch spreaders last year.
