Had this entitled homeowner today who hired us for full yard maintenance but flipped out when I told him edging the beds around his St. Augustine grass is part of the deal. We're in Texas so the Bermuda and St. Aug mixes grow like weeds after rain, and skipping it means the whole lawn looks like crap in a week. Guy argued for 20 minutes, saying he only wants mowing and blowing, no 'fancy stuff'. I showed him the contract we signed last spring, but he swore he never agreed to that. Posted about it on r/landscaping earlier and got some laughs, but man, these clients make me wanna stick to commercial accounts only. Anyone else dealing with this BS?

Just finished a job where the guy wanted half the edging done, paid half. Screw that.

Haha, had a lady complain the mulch looked 'uneven' after we edged perfectly.

Try using Jobber to send photos of the before/after, shuts them up.

How do you quote edging time?

SharkBite for irrigation, but for lawns, nah, full service or bust.
