Finally crossed 50 five-star reviews on my Google Business Profile for the landscaping company I run, and damn it feels good. Been hustling in the greater Atlanta area for about 8 years now, mostly doing commercial lawn maintenance and hardscape installs with Stihl gear and Belgard pavers. Started asking every client after a job if they'd drop a quick review on their phone while I packed up the truck, and it stuck - no fancy incentives, just made it easy. Watched that Jason Creel Q&A on Lawn Care Life YouTube where he talks about reputation being everything in this biz, and he wasn't kidding; those reviews have me booking steady without chasing leads. Someone in the Landscaping Professionals Facebook group mentioned how Google reviews beat out Angi leads any day, and I get it now. Proud as hell to see the business grow from solo to two crews off that word-of-mouth boost.

shove it, reviews are overhyped - i got 30 and still lose bids to lowballers every time.
