I'm in Texas and just finished a $650 lawn refresh job with fresh St. Augustine sod and edging, posted the pics on Instagram thinking it'd drum up some leads. Crickets, man, not a single like or comment from the local crowd. Sucks when you put in the work for content but it flops like that.

instagram's algorithm is a total scam, burying our hard work under all that influencer BS while the locals scroll past without a second glance. we've all been there, pouring sweat into a killer job just to get zero traction from the very folks who need us most. it's infuriating how these platforms screw over small crews like us in favor of big ad spenders. time to ditch the free ride and throw some cash at targeted ads to actually reach texas homeowners.
