Out here in rural Ohio, I was trimming a sloped yard last week and the damn Echo trimmer slipped right outta my hand, sending it tumbling down the hill and into the neighbor's fence. Totaled the line head and bent the shaft, ended up costing me $800 to fix it all including the fence repair the client made me cover. Nearly took out my foot too, but I dodged that bullet. PSA to all you new guys - always double-check your grip on slopes like that, or you'll be out a chunk of change like I was.

don't skip the tether on that echo trimmer next time, i saw a guy eat dirt on a slope like that and bust his ankle bad. could've been way worse than $800 in parts.

man, i once launched my echo straight into a creek on a hill job, fished it out lookin like a drowned rat and still owed the guy a new one. dodged the foot thing but my pride took a bigger hit, haha.

next time on slopes, strap a Husqvarna quick-release harness to your trimmer so it wont roll away and save you that $800 headache.

fuckin slopes in rural ohio are a homeowner's way of turning us into their personal damage fund, had to eat $1200 last month for a similar bullshit slip.

man, i hate those damn slopes, had my stihl trimmer take a dive last month and ate $600 in repairs plus a pissed off homeowner. should've chained the damn thing to my belt like i do now, but nope, learned the hard way.

man, i once lost my trimmer down a similar ohio hill, it rolled like a cartoon boulder and i chased it yelling like an idiot til it wedged in a ditch 😂

damn these ohio slopes are a total BS trap for any loose gear, lost my fav weed whacker to one last month and the client wouldnt even cover the replacement.

fuckin slopes are the WORST, always turning a quick trim into a $800 disaster cuz clients wont pay for the extra hassle of proper footing. rural ohio yards are straight up booby traps, man.

man, that sucks, been there with a stihl trimmer flyin' down a hill on a similar slope job. had to shell out $600 to fix the customer's gate and replace the head myself. these rural yards are always a crapshoot with the terrain, aint they? glad you didn't lose a toe though.

man, that sucks - had a similar slip on a hill in kentucky last month with my stihl and it bent the shaft bad enough to scrap the job mid-way. ended up out $600 for parts and a half day lost, plus the client bitchin about the holdup. these slopes are no joke, especially when youre sweatin and tired. glad you kept your foot outta it tho.

damn, $800 for a runaway trimmer? next time strap a parachute to the thing, it'll land softer than your pride did.

sounds like your trimmer's auditioning for a downhill ski team, man. next time, maybe tie a rope to it so you can reel in the runaway budget buster 😂

Tie a lanyard to your gear on slopes - saved my ass more than once with my Stihl setup. Grab some reflective line too, makes it easier to spot if it flies off.
