Out here in rural Ohio, I was trimming a sloped yard last week and the damn Echo trimmer slipped right outta my hand, sending it tumbling down the hill and into the neighbor's fence. Totaled the line head and bent the shaft, ended up costing me $800 to fix it all including the fence repair the client made me cover. Nearly took out my foot too, but I dodged that bullet. PSA to all you new guys - always double-check your grip on slopes like that, or you'll be out a chunk of change like I was.

man, i once launched my echo straight into a creek on a hill job, fished it out lookin like a drowned rat and still owed the guy a new one. dodged the foot thing but my pride took a bigger hit, haha.

next time on slopes, strap a Husqvarna quick-release harness to your trimmer so it wont roll away and save you that $800 headache.

fuckin slopes in rural ohio are a homeowner's way of turning us into their personal damage fund, had to eat $1200 last month for a similar bullshit slip.

man, i hate those damn slopes, had my stihl trimmer take a dive last month and ate $600 in repairs plus a pissed off homeowner. should've chained the damn thing to my belt like i do now, but nope, learned the hard way.

Tie a lanyard to your gear on slopes - saved my ass more than once with my Stihl setup. Grab some reflective line too, makes it easier to spot if it flies off.
