up here in the pacific northwest the rain never stops and neither do the damn lockouts, spent my morning drilling out a kwikset deadbolt on a sopping wet apartment door cuz the tenant lost her key again. by noon i was rekeying three schlage cylinders for a small office that got hit with a break-in, all while my boots are soaked through. charged $250 for the emergency callout but the client bitched about the after-hours fee like i control the weather. afternoon was automotive, popping a honda civic that some idiot locked themselves out of at the mall, and now i'm beat from hauling my ryobi drill kit everywhere. 15 years in this trade and days like this make me wanna switch to something indoor, but bills dont pay themselves. saw a similar rant in the locksmith professionals fb group yesterday, everyone griping about wet weather jobs.

or just use the wedge method, faster and less damage.
T
