Why I'm ditching my Ford Transit for a Mercedes Sprinter van setup

Just dropped $65k on a new Mercedes Sprinter for the locksmith fleet, and yeah it's a premium ride but damn worth it for all the key cutting gear and HPC equipment I haul. Fords have been breaking down every other month with those weak rear axles on job runs, so screw that noise. Who's with me on upgrading or am I just overpaying?

What specific key machines are you fitting in that Sprinter?

He's probably stuffing in an Ilco or Futura, but damn I wish I could afford that upgrade.

Ilco's solid but heavy as hell, my back hates me every time I load it.

Sprinter's space is clutch for the code cutter and impressioning tools.

FML, my Ford's tranny just crapped out mid-job last week, left me stranded with a full van of Kwikset blanks.

Insurance companies are screwing us with these fleet rates, especially after one break-in.

$65k? That's a punchline, I got my Transit for half and it's still kicking after 100k miles of lockout calls.

Haha, yeah Sprinter owners act like they're in a luxury convoy while the rest of us rattle around in beaters.

PE-backed shops are buying up all the good vans, leaving independents like us with the scraps.

Up north the salt roads eat Fords alive, switched to something rust-proof last year.

Try adding cargo organizers for your pick sets and duplicators, saves time on every automotive job.

Just saw a holy shit moment in r/Locksmith where a guy's van got totaled by a dumb homeowner, felt that.

LOL, remember that Locksmith Professionals FB group post about the exploding air tool in the back? Nearly wrecked the whole rig.
