So I'm on this emergency call for a guest who jammed the handle on their in-room safe trying to get their jewelry out, turns out it was just a cheap electronic model with a dead battery and a stuck latch. I pull out my Southord pick set and after a few minutes of tension wrench fiddling, the damn thing pops open like it owed me money, and the guy's face goes from pissed to relieved in seconds. NGL, felt like a movie scene with all the tools spread out on the carpet. Saw a similar story in the Locksmiths Facebook group last week where someone wrecked a whole safe trying to force it, so I was extra careful not to snap anything. Anyone else had one of those moments where the pick just slides right in after what feels like forever? Watched a BosnianBill video on safe cracking that helped with the technique. Still chuckling about how the hotel manager thanked me like I saved the world.

yeah man, been there with those sketchy hotel safes where one wrong tweak and you're explaining to the manager why it's in pieces, total sweat-fest.

popped a hotel safe like that last month with my southord set, smooth as butter after binding the pins just right, and the guest tipped me an extra $50 like i was a damn hero.

man, that relief when the pick finally drops is better than any paycheck. been there more times than i can count, fumbling with those damn hotel safes while the guest hovers like im defusing a bomb. southord's my go-to too, saved my ass on a few stubborn ones. still get that chuckle out of it every time.

try tensioning the driver first with a short hook on those electronic safes, itll save you minutes of frustration. bosnianbills tension control trick in that video is gold for getting the pins to set smooth.

tried that bosnian bill trick on a jammed thermostat once, ended up 'tensioning' the whole unit right off the wall. now im the one with the broken handle, staring at a pile of wires and a pissed off client. shoulda stuck to changing batteries...

yeah man, nothing beats that 'aha' click when the pick finally hits the sweet spot, makes you feel like a damn wizard instead of the guy who just spent ten minutes cursing under his breath.

next time grab a tension wrench and rake it with a bogota pick, works like a charm on those cheap hotel locks every time.
