Invoicing software that's actually good for locksmith service calls?

Man, invoicing after a long day of rekeying offices and installing deadbolts is killing me, especially when I'm out here in Arizona the sun's beating down and I'm trying to type on my phone. I've been using QuickBooks but it sucks for on-the-spot estimates, like quoting a Schlage cylinder swap at the door. Customers want the invoice right then for their insurance claim, and I'm fumbling with paper forms half the time. Switched to Jobber last month thinking it'd be better for mobile, but the template setup is a nightmare for adding line items like pin kits or lever handles. Anyone else dealing with this crap? Feels like every app is made for plumbers, not us. NGL, I'm about ready to just charge everything flat rate and email later.

every damn one of these apps is built for plumbers and hvac hacks with their endless pipe lists, leaving us locksmiths to fumble like idiots in the heat while customers stare at you like you're the problem.

goddamn software companies act like locksmiths don't exist, it's all geared for those plumber hacks who get to take their sweet time on jobs while we're sweating in the arizona heat trying to invoice on the fly.

what's the biggest headache with jobber's line items, like is it the mobile app lagging or just the templates being a pain to customize? i've been eyeing housecall pro for locksmith stuff but don't wanna jump ship if it's more of the same crap. you got any must-have features for quick estimates on deadbolts?

try housecall pro, it syncs with quickbooks and makes adding line items for stuff like schlage swaps way easier on your phone.
