goddamn kwikset cores are the WORST, always turning a simple service call into a total crapshoot thanks to those half-assed previous jobs that leave us holding the bag.

had the exact same BS last month with a kwikset core that looked fine til i started drilling, then boom, van keys locked inside and im out $400 on a tow and parts. those cheap cores are a nightmare for any locksmith worth his salt.
