Just had a commercial client sue over a botched Medeco rekey that supposedly left their deadbolts vulnerable, ended up settling for $800 just to avoid court. Watched a LockPickingLawyer video on YouTube that showed how these things can fail if not pinned right, and yeah, it hit home. NGL, my insurance premiums jumped 20% after that crap, anyone got tips on better waivers?
you got a sample waiver you dont mind sharing that covers medeco pinning issues specifically?

get a locksmith certified in Medeco pinning first, it'll cut your liability headaches and keep those deadbolts solid.

man dont rekey medecos without a detailed waiver spelling out the pin risks and get the client to sign it on site, or youll be eating claims like that every time.

damn insurance companies are the real crooks here, jacking up premiums 20% after one screwup while they fight every claim tooth and nail, makes you wanna switch to self-insuring if you could.

damn insurance companies are straight up vampires, jacking premiums 20% on some bullshit claim while they pocket the cash. clients pulling lawsuits over a single pin job is the real crap-show ruining this trade.

damn, those medeco jobs are a lawsuit waiting to happen if you dont pin em perfect, i had a similar BS last year that cost me $600 and spiked my rates too.

man, if i had a nickel for every time a medeco pin job turned into a lawsuit circus, i'd be rekeyin' yachts instead of strip malls. get those carded programs goin' like medeco pushes, might save your wallet from the next clown show.

what kind of waivers are you using now that they let clients off the hook so easy? i had a similar mess with a commercial job last month and wanna know if theres better ones out there. medeco's carded program any good for this kinda liability?

man, that $800 hit sucks, been there with a rekey job that went sideways and insurance jacked my rates too. clients always think they're experts after watching one video, but it's the pinning that bites ya in the ass. had to start slinging waivers like candy to cover my bases. same shit here, keeps me up at night.

man, skip the waivers and get every client to sign off on a detailed pin chart before you touch the medeco, had a buddy lose 2k when the owner claimed we left it weak. dont skimp on that or insurance will screw you twice as hard.

What exactly did the waiver say that didn't cover you?

man, those waivers never cover half the crap that goes wrong on rekey jobs, been burned on a medeco last month myself.
