Quickbooks killing me on mover jobs - $500/month just for basics?

Man, been using QuickBooks Online for tracking all our moving jobs, from packing up kitchens to hauling sofas across town, but it's $50 a month and I gotta pay another $450 yearly for the payroll add-on to handle my crew's hours. Just did a full pack and load for a family last week and inputting all that inventory and mileage is a nightmare. Anyone got a better setup for us movers that won't break the bank? Saw a reel from Sunshine Movers on Insta about streamlining prep and it got me thinking about simplifying the books too.

FML, QuickBooks is a bloated mess for simple mover ops, spent half a day last week fixing import errors on a cross-state haul.

switch to something like FreshBooks, it's cheaper at $30/month and way easier for invoicing after a big move job.

tried upgrading QuickBooks for my packing side gigs and it just pissed me off more, now I'm back to spreadsheets for the crew schedules.
