Had this wild job last week where the customer booked us for a basic apartment move but showed up with a loaded U-Haul trailer they wanted towed across town. I quoted them $650 flat for the extra hassle with my Ford F-350 and the team of three, but the guy lost his shit calling it highway robbery when we started wrapping everything in moving blankets. NGL, after dealing with the tight parking and his constant bitching, I ain't budging on the price.

sounds like he expected you to tow that junk palace for the price of a pizza delivery. i once had a guy argue over $200 to shift his buddy's couch, ended up leaving it wedged in the doorway like modern art. 😂 stick to your guns, these cheapskates make the job funnier than the actual move.

dude, had a similar crapshoot last month towing some idiot's u-haul full of garage junk for $550 and he flipped out too, customers always think we're stealing their pennies.
