I've been running a small moving crew for 8 years now, and QuickBooks is saving my ass on tracking all the U-Haul truck rentals we use for those long-haul jobs, but figuring out how to depreciate our fleet of furniture dollies over 3 years is a pain. Last quarter I spent $2k on new U-Haul hitches alone, and I need to make sure it's all deducted right so I'm not overpaying taxes. Anyone using a good add-on for movers to automate this crap? Saw a thread on r/moving about it but the advice was all over the place.

Fuck QuickBooks for service-based gigs like moving, it treats every truck rental like a one-off expense and screws your P&L reports every time. Switch to something like Jobber integrated with Xero, saved me hours on dolly wear and tear tracking without the BS.
