Out here in Atlanta, I spent $500 on ads through Google Business and all I got was a flood of fake 1-star reviews from competitors, killed my leads for cabinet jobs. Just saw that Idaho Painter reel on Instagram where he shows why you gotta strain paint before spraying to avoid clogs, but now I'm too pissed to even post my own tips. These bots are ruining social media for us small painters, someone in Painting Contractors FB group said it's happening everywhere.
Damn, that sucks man, been there with the review spam.

Set up review gating carefully, but respond to every fake one publicly calling it out, turns it around. Also strain that paint every time like Chris Berry says.

Same crap here, wasted a whole afternoon dealing with Google's verification BS.

They make you jump through hoops just to prove you're real, then ignore the bots.

FML, competitors are low class doing that.

Try claiming your profile again and link it to your socials for better algo. Watched Idaho Painter's tips, straining saves headaches on airless jobs.

Yeah, but Google's still a mess for leads.

Feel you, brother, social media was supposed to help us painters grow not tank us.
