Hey all, just a quick PSA after a close call today on a cabinet job. Was spraying Sherwin-Williams Emerald with my Graco UltraMax at 2500 PSI when the hose whipped loose from a bad fitting, nearly nailed my apprentice in the face. Charged the client $1800 for the full kitchen but damn, safety gear saved us; always double-check those connections, folks.

SharkBite style fittings on sprayer hoses? Nah, that's BS for high pressure jobs like this.

what psi were you running exactly before it let go?

sounds rough man, been there with a roller slip almost taking out a toe.

Graco's solid but those hoses wear fast if you're not inspecting daily.

Graco tip: run at lower psi for cabinets, less risk of blowback.
