Fired my Graco sprayer guy today after 5 years

I just let go of my lead painter whos been running the Graco airless rigs for me, and im paying him out $2k severance to make it sting less. The dude kept botching preps on those Sherwin-Williams Emerald jobs, leaving holidays everywhere and costing me callbacks. NGL, scheduling just got a hell of alot tighter without him.

man that sucks, been there with a guy who couldnt tape worth shit.

just fire them quick and move on, lifes too short for bad help.

those emerald jobs are picky, but yeah he sounds like dead weight.

homeowners and their damn callbacks are the real enemy here, not your guy.

PE firms buying up painting outfits left and right, turning good crews into crap.
