Man, just wrapped a big commercial repaint on a strip mall here in north jersey, used Sherwin-Williams Emerald throughout for that durable finish on all the high-traffic areas. Charged $8k for the whole thing, figured it was fair with the prep work on those old brick facades. Client was happy during the job, even tipped the crew, but now they left a 1-star on Google saying we left dust everywhere and the color's off. SMH, we've been painting commercial spots for 15 years and this is the first time a review like this hits. Anyone else dealing with fake bad reviews from commercial gigs? Saw a similar rant in the Painting Contractors Facebook group last week.

goddamn commercial clients always find something to bitch about even when you bend over backwards.

How do you even respond to that crap without sounding defensive?

we lost a $5k repeat because of one pissed off manager's review on a office repaint.

yeah, emailed the guy and offered a touch-up, but he ignored it. ended up disputing the review with google proof.

we stick to flat for warehouses to hide imperfections.

don't let it get to you, one bad review won't tank your business if the rest are solid.

ask for reviews right after the job when they're happy, skips the salty ones.
