Me and the crew just wrapped a full house exterior in Phoenix area using Sherwin-Williams Emerald Rain Refresh, quoted them $6,800 flat rate and they bit quick after I showed some before pics from last season's bake. Out here in Arizona the sun beats everything to hell so we pushed hard to get two coats on before the monsoon tease, but damn if a gust didn't blow overspray all over the neighbor's new truck mid-spray. Had to comp him a $400 detail job to keep the peace, turned the whole thing into a neighborhood referral goldmine though. NGL, that wind was a total crapshoot but we laughed it off with the client over beers. Saw a similar funny moment thread on r/painting last week, anyone else got wind horror stories? Edit: client just texted another referral, win anyway.

Haha wind in AZ is no joke, had overspray hit a pool once and spent half the day fishing paint flecks out.

Dude that sounds worse, did the client make you drain it?

Nah, just scrubbed like hell with some Dawn, but the pool guy was pissed.

Sherwin Emerald holds up great in that sun, but wind? Always mask extra.

Lol comping the detail was smart, turns lemons to lemonade.
