I've been running a referral program for my painting gigs where I give $200 off the next interior job if someone refers a buddy, and it ties in nicely with Sherwin-Williams discounts on their Emerald paint line for repeat customers. It's landed me three solid leads last month alone, but damn, some folks are haggling hard over that $200 credit like it's coming out of my pocket.
