I've been in pest control 8 years and last month I had a total disaster with invoicing a termite inspection using Housecall Pro. Sent the wrong invoice to the customer for a bait station install with Sentricon, and they thought we were charging for something we hadn't even quoted. Now they're pissed and posted a bad review on Google, and I'm stuck chasing payment on the actual service. PSA: always double-check your software templates before hitting send, especially with recurring termite contracts. Me and the boys in the Pest Control Professionals group were talking about this, and half said they switched to ServiceTitan just to avoid these glitches. Don't let a dumb invoicing error screw your rep over a mud tube treatment or whatever. Watched a Tommy Mello video on upselling pest plans, but he didn't cover the billing pitfalls.
