Walked into a job last week where the homeowner swore it was just a couple ants in the kitchen, but nope, turned out to be a full carpenter ant colony eating through the subfloor in their south Florida home. I spent three hours drilling into the walls and injecting Termidor SC, but they kept calling back because they wouldn't let me do the full perimeter treatment with Taurus SC around the foundation. We're right on the Gulf here, so everything stays humid and attracts more pests faster than you can say infestation. PSA to all you new guys: document everything and push for the quarterly service upfront, or you'll be chasing callbacks forever. Saw a similar rant in the Pest Control Professionals group about a guy losing a client over this BS. Don't let these minimizers turn your day into a crap-show.
