So I'm out in rural Ohio hauling my pest control gear around in this beat-up Ford Transit, and last month I finally got it wrapped at the local shop with a massive cartoon roach climbing up the side, complete with Talstar P labels and all. Figured it'd be a good laugh and maybe snag some calls from folks who see it parked at gas stations. But yesterday I'm treating a termite job in some old farmhouse, pull up to the next stop, and the homeowner comes running out yelling about a 'huge bug on wheels' and swears she already dialed the sheriff. Turns out she legit thought the wrap was some mutant infestation rolling down the road, had her garden hose ready to blast me. NGL, I was dying laughing while explaining it's just advertising, but man, nothing beats that kinda free publicity. Anyone else got wild fleet stories like this? Saw a post in Pest Control Professionals group about a similar mix-up with a scorpion graphic.
