Started my morning with a routine termite inspection call, but holy crap, it turned into a full-blown nightmare when I got inside. The place was packed floor to ceiling with junk, couldn't even reach the crawlspace without moving stacks of newspapers and old furniture. Finally squeezed in there with my Milwaukee M18 flashlight and spotted active subterranean termites munching on the joists, mud tubes everywhere like a damn subway system. Spent the next four hours drilling holes for the Tentorid bait stations and spraying bifenthrin around the perimeter, but the homeowner kept interrupting with conspiracy theories about 'natural' remedies. By lunch, I'm covered in dust and god knows what else, and the cat decided my boots were a litter box. Wrapped up with a detailed report on potential structural damage, but man, some days make me question this gig. Saw a thread on r/pestcontrol about similar hoarder jobs, and yeah, it's universal frustration.

finished a hoarder termite job last week with zero callbacks after tenting the whole place with vikane gas, feels damn good to nail it despite the chaos.

sounds like that cat was just tryna join the termite union, marking territory for the next infestation 😂

next time, slap on some tyvek coveralls before crawling in there, saves you from the worst of that hoarder dust. and for those interruptions, just quote em the bifenthrin regs to shut down the conspiracy talk quick.

never go into a hoarder crawlspace without a full respirator and gloves, or you'll end up hacking up black gunk for weeks like i did last summer. those mud tubes can hide all sorts of nasty surprises, and one wrong poke means termites swarming your face. get the hell out and call in a cleanup crew first if it's that bad.

next time, cover the perimeter with a 0.5% bifenthrin mix before drilling to keep those interruptions minimal and focus on the bait stations.

those damn hoarders and their conspiracy BS make every job a crapshoot, like why cant they just let us do our thing without the interruptions?

hoarder houses are the worst, just tent the damn thing and call it a day instead of wasting hours on bait stations. those conspiracy nuts make me wanna charge double for the headache.

Bifenthrin is overkill for subterranean; orange oil injections work just as well without the chemical haze, fight me.
