Been using ServiceTitan for invoicing my residential repipes and water heater installs for the last two years, but it's turning into a total crap-show. Up here in north Jersey, with all these old slab homes, I have to log every PEX-A run and SharkBite fitting detail just to get a clean invoice out, and half the time it glitches and sends duplicates to customers. Last month, I lost $800 on a job because the system didn't track my change order for adding a new sump pump right, and the client shorted me thinking it was included in the original $4500 quote. I saw a similar rant in the Plumbers United Facebook group about their pricing hikes, and someone mentioned switching to Jobber. Watched a Tommy Mello video where he breaks down why he ditched big software for something simpler, but I'm locked in now with the contract. FML, anyone else dealing with this BS?

Man, same here with that software eating up hours on every drain job, feels like it's running the show instead of you.

what exactly is it doing on those drain jobs that wastes your time? you tried switching to service fusion yet?

service fusion's got the same clunky invoicing bs that'll eat your time on drain jobs too, stick with what you know or you'll regret the switch.

man, servicetitan's invoicing is a total time suck on every job, just like you said. been there with fusion too, wasted half my afternoon last week fiddlin with it instead of gettin back to the van. these softwares are supposed to save time but end up bein more hassle than they're worth. feel your pain in north jersey, that crap adds up quick.
