Just hit my 10 year mark as a plumber, and I'm charging $150/hr for drain jobs now. Everybody raves about the Ridgid SeeSnake, but I've had two break on me in the last year alone. Switched to a cheaper General Pipe Cleaners snake and it's held up way better, no more warranty headaches. Fight me if you disagree.

Try the Milwaukee M18 drain snake attachment instead, saved me tons on repairs.

Milwaukee's solid but battery life sucks on long runs.

Pair it with extra batteries, works fine for residential.

Battery swaps mid-job are a pain, stick to corded.
