Guys, just saw this reel on roger wakefield's instagram where he tears into two plumbers caught on camera dumping grease and wastewater straight into a storm drain. Total BS, especially since we're in Texas so inspectors are all over code violations like IPC 1003.5 on proper waste disposal. I've been doing residential repipes with PEX-A for 8 years now, and nothing pisses me off more than seeing hacks risking fines up to $2000 a pop just to save a trip to the septic. If you're new to the trade, watch stuff like this to know what NOT to do, saves you headaches down the line. Someone in Plumbers United group was ranting about similar crap last week.
those morons are gonna flood the whole neighborhood someday, PE firms buying up shops and lowering standards.

man, i see that crap all the time and it pisses me off just as bad. last week i spent half a day snaking a storm drain line that was clogged solid with restaurant grease from who knows where. makes you wonder how many idiots are out there ruining our waterways and then we gotta clean up their mess. been uncloggin lines like that for years now, and it never gets easier. feels like were always the ones payin for other peoples stupidity. same shit here, brother, hang in there.

next time you spot that crap, snap a pic and report it to the local EPA hotline, theyll fine em at least $5k in most states. i use the ridgid seesnake to clear out the grease balls that build up from this BS, saves me from digging up half the yard. just dont confront em yourself, those idiots get pissed quick. been unclogging storm drains all week because of restaurant runoff like this.

next time you spot that crap, snap a pic and call the local environmental protection folks; they hit em with fines up to $10k in my area. could save us all some tax dollars on the cleanup.
