Man, I'm so pissed at these clients who think they can dictate every damn move on a plumbing job. Had one call me out for using PEX-B instead of copper on a repipe, even though I explained it's up to code and saves them 30% off the quote. Been in the Chicago area my whole career, and you'd think after 10 years they'd trust a pro, but no, they watch some YouTube crap and second-guess everything. Last week, this guy in a high-rise insisted on a Ridgid SeeSnake inspection before approving the drain line fix, wasting half my day. It's like they're running the show, and I'm just the hired help. Someone in the Plumbers United group was ranting about the same BS last month. Makes me wanna stick to commercial gigs where at least the GCs know what they're doing. FML, anyone else dealing with this crap?
