QuickBooks Online for plumbing books: $30/month saved my sanity

Switched to QuickBooks Online last year for tracking all my PEX installs and water heater swaps, and it's a game changer for a one-man plumbing shop. Before that, I was drowning in paper receipts from Supply House orders and couldn't figure out my profit on those $800 Rheem replacements. Now at $30 a month, it categorizes everything from drain snakes to SharkBite fittings without the headache.

tried it once and it glitched on my invoice templates for sewer line jobs, total pain in the ass.

been using it 5 years straight, helped me scale from solo gigs to three trucks doing commercial repipes without missing a beat.

exactly, it's like they're in bed with the inspectors who already nickel and dime us.

PE firms buying up plumbing suppliers ain't helping either, prices through the roof now.

i feel your pain, started with spreadsheets for my leak repairs and ended up owing back taxes cause i missed deductions.

don't get me started on the audit fees if you screw up categorization for plumbing permits.

skip the cloud stuff if you're doing a lot of underground work, local backups or you'll lose everything in a flood.

big corps are squeezing us plumbers with their subscription traps, time to union up or something.

yeah man, same here with tracking overtime on emergency drain calls, it's a nightmare without good software.

i get it, juggling receipts from ridgid tools and pipe orders nearly bankrupted me last quarter.

those quarterly estimates hit hard when you're underbilled on repipe jobs, software helps but still sucks.

screw the PE vultures rolling up small plumbing outfits, they're killing the little guy with their accounting BS.

the industry's getting eaten alive by these finance sharks demanding perfect records or no loans.

try the mobile app for on-site entry after snaking a clog, saves hours later.
