Had a close call last week snaking a main line with my Ridgid SeeSnake, almost pulled out a live wire that could've fried me. Charged the client $450 for the diagnostic and fix, and they were thrilled it didn't turn into a $5k mess. Man, that tool's saved my ass more times than I can count.

Ridgid's solid but always double-check for electrical before diving in.

Yeah, I triple-check now after one zapped me years back.

Zapped? Hope it was just a tingle and not a full jolt.

Felt that. Lost a buddy to a similar mix-up.

I once found a buried junction box mid-snake, pure luck.

$450 sounds fair, I'd have upsold the full inspection.

Exactly, saw a post in Plumbers United about a guy electrocuting himself.

SharkBites are bad enough, but live wires in drains? Insane.

Those PE roll-ups are pushing techs too hard on these jobs.

Grab a multimeter before every snake, it's non-negotiable.

Insurance companies hate these stories, premiums go up.

SharkBites behind walls are fine if you label 'em.

Texas inspectors let this slide too often, scary.

Close calls like that make you buy better PPE, worth every penny.

Haha, my near-miss was pulling a snake with a rat on the end.
