Switched to QuickBooks Online last year thinking it'd save me time on tracking water heater installs and PEX jobs, but I'm shelling out $50 a month for what feels like extra headaches. NGL, the invoicing is slick for billing out those Ridgid SeeSnake rentals, but reconciling drain cleaning expenses is a nightmare. Anyone got a better setup without breaking the bank?

Try Xero instead, it's got better integration for trade-specific stuff like material costs on copper vs PEX runs, and the mobile app actually works on job sites.

Xero saved my ass during tax season, but watch the import fees if you're pulling from Home Depot receipts.

Fuck these software companies, they hike prices every year while us plumbers are out there busting pipes for peanuts.

Haha, I feel you, brother. Last week I spent two hours entering a whole house repipe job only for it to glitch and delete everything. Beer was my savior that night.
