Man, I swear every time I sign a contract for a water heater swap using Rheem units, the paperwork turns into a full-time job itself. I'm using QuickBooks Online to track all the change orders and addendums, but it feels like I'm drowning in boilerplate clauses about liability for leaks or code compliance on PEX runs. Had a job last week where the client nitpicked every line item, and now I'm second-guessing if I even dotted the i's on the warranty section. Bookkeeping this stuff is killing my vibe - tracking materials like SharkBite fittings separately from labor is a pain. Saw a thread on r/Plumbing about simplifying contracts, but it didn't help much. Someone in Plumbers United group mentioned using templates from ServiceTitan to cut down on the hassle. Watched a Roger Wakefield video on basic contract tips, but it was more for homeowners than us pros. FML, just want to get back to wrenching.
