Cold calling plumbers in Houston for re-piping jobs - $5000 quotes closing at 60%

Out here in Houston, I've been cold calling homeowners with old galv pipes for whole house re-pipes using PEX-B, quoting $5000 flat for a 2000 sq ft place. Some folks hang up, but damn if it ain't working better than door knocking in this heat. Anyone else killing it with cold outreach on plumbing gigs or am I just lucky?
