Had this homeowner call me in a panic because her kitchen faucet was leaking everywhere, so I grabbed my Milwaukee packout and headed over. Quoted her $450 to fix it with SharkBite fittings since the pipes were a mess behind the wall, but she lost her shit saying it was robbery. Now she's posting bad reviews everywhere, and I'm just sitting here thinking, damn, should've stuck to soldered joints on this one.

Man, I hate when they nickel and dime on plumbing fixes that save them thousands down the line. Last week I did a similar job and the lady acted like I stole her wallet.

Same, these homeowners watch one YouTube video and think they're experts. Charged $500 for a PEX reroute and got the same backlash, total BS.

SharkBites are quick but man do they bring out the cheapskates. I stopped using them on visible jobs after one guy complained it wasn't 'real plumbing'.

Yeah, explain to them it's code compliant and faster than sweating pipes, but nope, they want the antique look for free.

FML, just had a guy refuse to pay $300 for a Ridgid drain snake job because he saw a DIY vid. These people are gonna flood their own houses.

I've been there, bro. Next time throw in a quick demo of why SharkBite beats copper for the price, might shut them up.

Try quoting the full copper job at $800 first, then the SharkBite option seems like a steal. Worked for me on a bathroom remodel last month.
