And don't get me started on the reviews, they ding you for not being psychic about their PEX-A vs PEX-B debates before even quoting. Saw a rant in Plumbers United group yesterday where a guy lost three jobs because of bogus one-stars from competitors. It's like they're farming our info to steal clients. Watched a Tommy Mello video on this, he said ditch the lead gen sites for direct marketing, but switching feels impossible when the phone's dry. Who's got a better way to build real reputation without this BS?

Focus on Google Business Profile and get your five-stars there, it's free and homeowners actually check it before calling.

Don't touch Angi, they're notorious for selling the same lead to five plumbers and then the cheapskate picks the lowest bid.

Build a simple site with before-after pics of your water heater installs, link it everywhere.
