So I get called out to this job where the homeowner had been messing with his own PEX lines, using those cheap expansion fittings without a proper tool. He watched a few videos and thought he could handle the repipe himself, but now everything's leaking under the sink. I tell him straight up, you gotta use the right crimper or expander like the Milwaukee M18 for PEX-A to avoid this crap. He gets all pissy, says I should fix it for free since I'm the 'pro'. Saw a similar story on r/Plumbing last week about these know-it-all clients. Anyone got tips for dealing with this without losing your cool? In the Plumbers United group, they say document everything from the start. TBH, I'm tempted to just walk away next time.
