Had a rough one yesterday with a GC who won't sign off on the change order for rerouting the PEX lines around that new bathroom addition. I used Uponor PEX-A like always, but he claims it wasn't in the original scope even though the plans changed mid-job. Sent him the photos and the marked-up blueprints, but he's dragging his feet. Been doing this 15 years and this BS never gets easier. Anyone got a solid template for these plumbing contracts to avoid this crap? Saw a similar rant in Plumbers United group last week.

use a simple addendum form from AIA, fill it out on the spot with sigs from everyone. keeps it clean and enforceable. i add a line for uponor specifics too.
