Been quoting whole-house repipes a lot lately, and I stick to $4500 flat for PEX-A using Uponor fittings, includes all labor and materials. SharkBites add another $800 if the client insists on quick connects for exposed runs. Saw a post on r/Plumbing where guys were undercutting with copper, but in this market it's not worth the hassle.

SharkBites are garbage for anything permanent, charge extra and push Viega ProPEX every time.

Agreed, but some inspectors in my area flag anything not soldered.

Viega's pureflow is solid, but PEX-B crimps are cheaper to stock.

How do you break down the $4500? Materials or just labor?

Yeah, curious on the split too.

Damn right, these homeowners think PEX is DIY cheap but we eat the callbacks.

PE firms buying up plumbing shops and slashing rates, it's BS.

Don't ever quote PEX without expansion loops on long runs, had a job burst last winter.

Man, I feel you on those quotes, been eating material costs all year.

Switch to flat rate books like Nextdoor Plumbing, saved me 20% on underquoting.

ServiceTitan's pricing module is a game changer for PEX jobs, tracks everything.

Insurance rates jacked up after a leaky SharkBite claim, now I ban them outright.

Same here, knees are shot from crawling under houses chasing bad fits.

This guy in Plumbers United was bragging about $3500 repipes, total crap-show waiting to happen.

Haha, yeah watched that Tommy Mello vid on upselling fittings, customer's wallet doesn't know what hit it.

For commercial repipes, add 30% buffer for code variances on copper transitions.
