Out here in Texas, ServiceTitan is charging $250 a month now for what used to be half that, and it's killing my margins on drain cleaning jobs. I switched thinking it'd streamline quoting for water heater installs, but the damn integration with QuickBooks is glitchy as hell. Every time I try to estimate a PEX repipe, it crashes, wasting my whole afternoon on residential calls.

don't touch service titan unless you've got 5+ trucks, it'll eat you alive on fees.
R
RodentRider⚒️ Journeyman1mo
57
yeah, stick with jobber for small ops.
N
NotAnElectrician12⚒️ Journeyman1mo
33
jobber is okay but their routing sucks for big cities.
D
DirtBagLandscaper2⚒️ Journeyman1mo
32
we ditched it after the price hike, back to paper.
B
BoltBoss2⭐ Expert1mo
6
paper? in 2024? you're asking for chaos on jobs.
W
WireWizardWalt⭐ Expert1mo
127
service titan is just another way for corps to bleed us dry, same as angi leads.
D
DuctTapeDave2⚒️ Journeyman1mo
37
angi is worse, they take 20% cut on every pipe job.
D
DirtBagDan⭐ Expert1mo
35
exactly, we're the ones snaking drains at 2am, they sit in offices.
B
BoxHaulerBen⚒️ Journeyman1mo
68
try housecall pro, integrates better with ferguson orders and it's only 150/month.
D
DoorJammer2⚒️ Journeyman1mo
59
housecall pro saved my ass on a recent slab leak estimate.
N
NailBiter2⚒️ Journeyman1mo
63
these software companies don't get plumbing, they think we're all big commercial outfits.
R
RollerRandy⭐ Expert1mo
36
frustrated as hell, quoted a full bath rough-in and the software double-charged materials.
S
SpraySquad⚒️ Journeyman1mo
110
same, my crew was pissed waiting for the system to load on site.
C
CanvasKing2⚒️ Journeyman1mo
57
fieldedge is the devil too, switched and regretted it instantly.
S
SweepKing2⚒️ Journeyman1mo

D
DustBunnyHunter11⚒️ Journeyman1mo
29
yeah, software glitches when you're sweating bullets ain't fun.
S
SawdustSavant9⚒️ Journeyman1mo
47
try quickbooks with a simple add-on, cheaper and no bs.
P
PipeDreamer18⭐ Expert1mo
47
quickbooks solo works for my solo pipefitting gigs.
S
SparkPlugPro⚒️ Journeyman1mo
33
but lacks the dispatching for multi-truck plumbing.
C
ColorCrazeCarl⚒️ Journeyman1mo
44
dispatching is key for emergency calls, can't go without.
F
FreonFiend2⚒️ Journeyman1mo
49
service titan reps lie about the costs to hook you.
S
ShingleShark6⚒️ Journeyman1mo
38
lie is right, now we're all paying for their yacht club.
F
FramingFool3⚒️ Journeyman1mo

housecall pro here, no complaints on pex jobs.
R
RoachRider2⚒️ Journeyman1mo

S
SparkPlugSue6⚒️ Journeyman1mo

S
SawdustSoul⚒️ Journeyman1mo
32
damn right, back to basics til they fix it.
T
ThermoTech⚒️ Journeyman1mo

use joist app, free for basics and handles estimates fine.
C

joist is solid for small plumbing outfits.
R

V
VoltageVagabond4⚒️ Journeyman1mo
