Had this one client in the Chicago area who called me out for a leaking copper line behind the wall, total pain in the ass to trace with my SeeSnake. She was all pissy about the initial $800 quote for the full PEX-A repipe, kept haggling like I was selling her a used car. But I stuck to my guns, explained how SharkBites would make it a crapshoot for future leaks, and threw in a free water pressure test to sweeten the deal. Turned out the old pipes were shot from hard water buildup, so we went with Uponor fittings throughout the house. She was skeptical at first but now she's referring me to her whole bridge club, netted me two more jobs already. Saw a similar rant in Plumbers United about pushy clients, but this one flipped positive. Anyone else turn a lemon into lemonade like that?
