Had this nightmare client who complained about a simple kitchen faucet swap I did with a Moen 1225 cartridge, cost me $1500 all in and now she's blasting 1-stars everywhere saying it leaks after a week.
Tried to fix it for free but she ghosted me, and it's tanking my Google rating.
Watched a Roger Wakefield video on handling pissed off customers but damn, this one's got me second-guessing my whole review strategy.

those entitled homeowners who ghost after you bend over backwards are the WORST, ruining good plumbers reps with their BS one-stars while moen cartridges hold up fine every damn time.

dont let those one-star reviews from ghosting homeowners tank your rep, had a guy last year who skipped paying a $1500 moen install and it almost cost me my license when he badmouthed me online.

next time grab the moen 100440 o-ring kit during the install, it seals way better and cuts down on those callback leaks. if she's still ghosting, hit up your google profile and post a polite response quoting the lifetime warranty to show you're on it.

next time ask moen for a free replacement cartridge under their warranty before the fix visit, saved my ass on a similar 1225 job last month and the customer ended up bumping their review to 4 stars.

fuckin homeowners like that are the worst, blasting fake leaks on a solid moen job just to tank good plumbers, its BS and were all paying for their drama.

man, had the exact same crap with a picky homeowner after a $1200 install, they ghost after one free fix and now my ratings are screwed too.

i turned my plumbing side gig into a full-time hustle by chasing five-star reviews on every job, now i'm booked out three months solid. screw the one-stars, focus on the clients who actually appreciate solid work like that moen swap.

man, had the same crap with a $1200 delta job last month, offered to fix it free and the customer still left a one-star rant that killed my weekend bookings.

sounds like she wanted a moen fountain instead of a faucet, lol. ghosting after a free fix? thats some olympic level bs right there.

Offer a partial refund or free service call to turn it around, I've done that on similar Moen installs and it bumps the review up quick.
