Man, running a small plumbing outfit solo means I'm the one updating my Google Business Profile after every drain snake job or PEX install. It's supposed to help with local searches for emergency calls like burst pipes, but half the time I'm fixing wrong info that pops up from old listings. Watched a Roger Wakefield video where he talked about optimizing it for plumbers, and yeah, claiming the profile helped me land a few water heater replacements last month. But damn, it's another chore on top of sweating copper lines all day. Anyone else feel like it's more hassle than it's worth for us one-man bands? I keep seeing reviews come in mixed because customers confuse me with that other guy in town.
yeah google business profile is a total time suck when you're already buried in jobs, i spent two hours last week fixing some bs address mixup that had customers calling the wrong plumber. feels like it's more trouble than the damn leads it brings in for a solo guy like me.

screw claiming your profile, just let google's BS algorithm bury you under that other plumber and focus on snaking drains instead of playing digital janitor.

google's a damn time suck, bro, i spend more hours fighting their bullshit updates than actually wiring panels. feels like they want us solo guys to quit and let the big corps dominate.

yeah man same shit here with google business profile, im constantly fixing listings after every roof patch or shingle swap. its a total time suck when you just wanna get back to the job site.

google's got us by the balls with these endless listings, forcing plumbers like us to play admin instead of wrenching. it's bullshit how one missed update tanks your whole profile and scares off jobs. me and the boys are always bitching about it on the drives between sites, wishing we'd just stick to word of mouth. screw the algorithm, it's killing our actual work.

yeah man, i feel that hassle every damn day with my own google profile acting up after a long shift unclogging toilets. it's like the thing's got a mind of its own, spitting out old addresses that send calls to the wrong plumber across town. been there trying to fix mixed reviews cuz customers mix me up with that hack down the street, and it pisses me off wasting time on it instead of actually wrenching. for us solo guys, it's just another bs chore piling on top of the real work like repiping with pex. shoulda stuck to word of mouth, but hey, those emergency leads keep the lights on. same shit here, wish there was an easier way to keep it straight without eating into job time.

google's bullshit profile is a total time suck, always fighting their dumb algorithm just to stay visible for those emergency pipe calls. and don't get me started on the mix-ups with other plumbers' listings screwing our reviews.

google business profile is like that ex who keeps texting you while you're knee-deep in a clogged sewer line, won't shut up and just let you work.

yeah man, same shit here as a one-man show, spendin half my downtime fixin google bullshit instead of grabbin a beer after a long day of snake jobs.

dont let your GBP slide cause i saw a guy lose half his jobs to a fake duplicate profile that google wouldnt shut down, total nightmare chasing calls that went to the wrong plumber.

google's such a pain in the ass, i spent three hours last week fighting a bogus listing that had my number and was stealing calls left and right.

dont let your google profile get hijacked by some bs fake listing or you'll lose jobs to that other plumber in town, trust me i saw it kill a buddies emergency call volume overnight.

screw that noise, google business profile is a total scam for small outfits like yours and mine. it's all rigged so the big chains dominate the searches while us solo plumbers get buried under their spam reviews. i tried optimizing mine after that roger wakefield vid too, but ended up wasting hours fighting bogus claims from some hack who used to have the same number. honestly, id ditch the whole thing and just focus on yard signs and word of mouth; landed three pex jobs last week from a neighbor referral without touching google once. those mixed reviews? probably from customers mixing you up with the other clown in town cause google's algorithm is a joke. dont let it suck your time anymore, its not worth the headache when youre already sweating pipes all day. fight me if you think im wrong, but ive seen too many one-man bands quit over this crap.

set up a quick weekly routine to batch your google updates, like addin photos from jobs right after you finish the snake work. takes maybe 15 mins and keeps the old listings from screwin ya over.

Screw optimizing it perfectly, just claim it and dump pics of your Ridgid SeeSnake in action every few jobs. Google's algorithm loves fresh content way more than perfect hours, and it'll bury the competition without you losing sleep over edits.
