Man, running a small plumbing outfit solo means I'm the one updating my Google Business Profile after every drain snake job or PEX install. It's supposed to help with local searches for emergency calls like burst pipes, but half the time I'm fixing wrong info that pops up from old listings. Watched a Roger Wakefield video where he talked about optimizing it for plumbers, and yeah, claiming the profile helped me land a few water heater replacements last month. But damn, it's another chore on top of sweating copper lines all day. Anyone else feel like it's more hassle than it's worth for us one-man bands? I keep seeing reviews come in mixed because customers confuse me with that other guy in town.
yeah google business profile is a total time suck when you're already buried in jobs, i spent two hours last week fixing some bs address mixup that had customers calling the wrong plumber. feels like it's more trouble than the damn leads it brings in for a solo guy like me.

screw claiming your profile, just let google's BS algorithm bury you under that other plumber and focus on snaking drains instead of playing digital janitor.

Screw optimizing it perfectly, just claim it and dump pics of your Ridgid SeeSnake in action every few jobs. Google's algorithm loves fresh content way more than perfect hours, and it'll bury the competition without you losing sleep over edits.
