Switched to ServiceTitan for invoicing my drain cleaning and water heater installs, but damn, that $150 a month fee is killing my margins on small residential calls. It's got all the bells and whistles for scheduling PEX repipes, but I'd rather stick with something cheaper like QuickBooks that doesn't nickel and dime you. Anyone else feel like these software companies are just preying on us plumbers?

try housecall pro instead, its only about $50 a month for the basics and handles invoicing for my drain jobs just fine. wont miss those service titan add ons if youre mostly doin small residential stuff.

servicetitan's just another bloodsucking corp preying on us small-time plumbers with their bloated fees, while they laugh all the way to the bank.

don't lock into servicetitan on a long contract, i saw a buddy get hit with $500 in early termination fees and it nearly sank his one-truck operation.

don't lock into servicetitan, itll suck you dry with hidden fees and lock-in contracts that make switching a nightmare. switched to fergus last year and havent looked back, way better for small shops like ours.

servicetitan aint nothin but a fancy scam for plumbers, they charge you 150 bucks a month then hit you with addons that double it, stick with quickbooks and save your ass from these bloodsuckers.

service titan is just another PE-backed bloodsucker jacking up prices while us plumbers bust our asses on snake jobs and repipes for peanuts.

stuck with servicetitan for years now and it's paid for itself ten times over on my bigger repipes, turning $2k jobs into smooth sails without the paperwork hassle. yeah the $150 stings at first but once you're pulling consistent margins it feels like a steal compared to the old school headaches. switched from quickbooks and never looked back, my crew's actually on time these days.
