Had a workers comp claim last year when my apprentice botched a job with the Ridgid K-400 drain snake and it cost me $2500 in medical. Now my insurance is jacked up to $8k a year for the whole crew. Is everyone else seeing these hikes or just me?

i dodged that bullet by switching to a smaller carrier two years back and now my premiums are 30% lower than yours even after claims, feels damn good to outsmart the big boys.

my rates went from 4k to 5.5k after a similar claim, but i shopped around to state farm and cut it back to 4.8k - feels good to outsmart those bastards for once.
