I've been solo plumbing for 8 years and finally tried switching to Housecall Pro for scheduling drain clears and water heater swaps, but the routing feature keeps glitching on my old iPad. Me and my helper waste half the day rerouting to jobs because it doesn't sync right with Google Maps. Tried Joist last year and it was better for quick estimates on PEX repipes, but the invoicing part is clunky as hell when clients want to pay on site. Anyone got a solid app that handles everything without the BS? Saw a post on r/Plumbing where someone raved about ServiceTitan, but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle for a small operation. Honestly feeling like going back to pen and paper some days. FML.

man, i feel that pain with these apps turning simple jobs into a crapshow, been there wasting hours on glitches just to get to the next drain call.

yeah, same shit here with these apps turning a quick snake job into an all-day glitch fest. been there, cursing at my phone while the customer's water is running everywhere.

man these apps are all the same BS, built by tech bros who never even snaked a drain, just to bleed us small guys dry with subscriptions... fml.

nah, service titan aint a nightmare if you got the cash to throw at it, but screw those tech bros for making us pay $200 a month just to not double book jobs.

fergus is the one that actually works without the glitches for small plumbing ops like yours, handles scheduling and invoicing smooth with google maps sync. been using it for drain jobs and pex installs, and my helper doesnt waste time rerouting anymore. setup took about an hour, way less bs than housecall pro. give it a free trial before ditching the apps altogether.

dude, same shit here with housecall pro glitching out mid-route, makes me wanna chuck the damn tablet in the van and stick to the old clipboard.

man, that syncing bullshit with housecall pro has me pulling my hair out too, cant count how many times its left me and the guys circling the wrong neighborhood. pen and paper starts looking real good when these apps pull that crap.

tried service titan for my small crew last year and it ate up 15% of my time just fixing glitches, feels like these apps are built to screw solo guys over.

these apps are total BS, designed to screw over small guys like us while the big corps rake in the cash, housecall pro can kiss my ass.

man, been there with housecall pro glitching out on my routes too, feels like the apps are designed to screw over us solo guys.

servicetitan's overkill for small ops like yours, it's basically corporate bs designed to lock you in and bleed your wallet dry while pretending to streamline shit.

try fergus, it's built by plumbers so the scheduling syncs solid with maps without the glitches you get on housecall. wont break the bank for a small crew either, just tested it on a couple repipes last month.

man, i feel your pain on those glitchy routing apps, been there with housecall pro eating my whole afternoon rerouting to a simple clog job. me and the guys waste so much time fiddlin with sync issues it aint even funny, especially when youre already knee deep in a crawlspace. joists invoicing clunkiness is the worst when clients are standin there with card in hand, totally kills the flow. service titan might be overkill for us small timers but damn if it doesnt tempt ya with the hype. honestly, pen and paper saved my sanity more than once this year.

fergus is the way to go for small plumbing ops like yours, handles scheduling and invoicing without the glitches you get with housecall pro. set it up on my android phone and it syncs with google maps every time, saved me about 2 hours a day on reroutes for drain jobs. invoicing is dead simple too, even when clients pay cash on site for that water heater swap. worth the switch imo, especially if you're not running a big crew.

these apps are all a scam for small guys like us, sucking up cash without delivering. tried housecall pro myself last year and it kept crashing mid-job, left me stranded in some customer's basement with no way to update the schedule. switched to service titan thinking it'd be better, but the damn subscription jumped to 300 bucks a month and still doesn't integrate worth a shit with my quickbooks. now im back to a whiteboard in the truck, at least it doesnt glitch. feels like they design this crap to force you into bigger operations or quit altogether.

servicetitan's just another bloated beast sucking money from small shops like ours, wont even touch the stuff after hearing how it locks you in. housecall pro aint much better, total BS with those glitches making us look like amateurs to customers.

Housecall Pro? More like Housecall Slow, I spent a whole afternoon trying to quote a simple toilet install and it froze up twice. 😂

Switching software every year is the worst, especially when you're in the middle of a busy season with back-to-back snake jobs. It's like they design this crap without ever stepping foot on a jobsite.

Tell me about it, same with my setup. We all deal with this garbage, might as well unionize against buggy apps.

switched to fergus last year and it's been a game-changer, no more buggy headaches for my three-man crew. im actually makin more profit now cause quotes go out fast and payments hit quicker. unionize if you want, but this apps keepin my business rollin smooth.

These software companies are screwing us plumbers over with half-baked updates that kill productivity. Time to demand better or stick to what works, damn it.
