Alright, first week on the job and the boss hands me a PEX-A repipe in a kitchen remodel, tells me to use the Milwaukee crimper. I go in thinking I'm hot stuff, but I musta squeezed too hard cuz now there's water everywhere and the client's pissed. Watched a Roger Wakefield video last night trying to figure out what I did wrong, but still clueless on the exact pressure for that tool. Anyone got a quick fix or tip for not screwing up crimps next time? Feels like a total clown show.
been there, bro, first PEX-A crimp had me moppin up the whole basement, just gotta double check your go/no-go gauge next time.

set your milwaukee crimper gauge to 0.551 inches for PEX-A, that's the sweet spot to avoid over-crimping and leaks.

for the milwaukee crimper on pex-a, aim for 1.1 times the o.d. of the pipe and make sure the rings are fully seated before squeezin, shoulda measured mine first time too.

that milwaukee crimper's a beast once you dial it in to 1.1 inches for pex-a, i botched my share but now my reps are leak-free and the boss trusts me with the big jobs.
