I'm done with the BS leads from Angi that ghost me after I quote a simple PEX repipe job. Set up a referral program last month where I give $500 to any plumber or GC who sends me a solid commercial client in the Philly area, and it's already landed two $10k maintenance contracts. Anyone else running something like this for cold outreach, or am I just lucky?

angi's leads are straight garbage, man, i've wasted thousands chasing ghosts like that on repipe jobs. your $500 referral thing sounds solid though, better than cold calling every strip mall in the city. been thinking of trying something similar but with my hvac side gig, maybe tie it to quick commercial service calls. how'd you structure the payout exactly, like upfront or after the job's done? and what kinda paperwork do you make em sign to avoid BS disputes later? we get alot of gc's who promise the world then vanish. im in south jersey but do philly jobs all the time, so this hits close. you got any templates or just a simple agreement?

angis leads are total crap but paying $500 for referrals? thats just inflating the whole damn game and killing margins for everyone chasing scraps in philly.

angi leads ghosting you? sounds like my ex-wife after i fixed the sink for free. your $500 referral program's smart though, i might steal that for my next cold call pitch.

my referral program's been crushing it too, snagged three $15k commercial gigs from gc buddies in under 60 days, way better than those angi clowns.

angis like that one ex who promises the world but ghosts you after the first date. your $500 referral hustle sounds like the upgrade we all need, keep it rollin.

tried somethin similar last year but started with $200 referrals to gc's who actually call back, landed me three steady jobs without the angi headache. tweak it to hit property managers direct since they handle the commercial stuff better than random homeowners.

angi is a fucking scam that preys on us small guys, sucking up our ad dollars and then vanishing with the leads like ghosts in the night. i've been burned so many times on their bs that i wont touch them anymore, and hearing you land real work through referrals makes me wanna rage-scream at how the system screws us over. those $500 payouts are smart as hell, way better than pouring money into that black hole. property managers are the real goldmine anyway, but getting to them without the middleman crap is the fight of our lives. we all need to band together and ditch these lead-gen vampires before they bankrupt the lot of us. screw angi, let's build our own networks and stick it to em.

angi's leads are straight up garbage, they hook you with the promise then vanish when it's time to pay, screw those thieves every time.

hell yeah, $500 for a lead that doesn't ghost you is like finding a working porta-potty on a construction site. angi's got me chasing my tail more than my ex did.

hell yeah, i started a $300 referral kickback for any gc tossing me a repipe gig last year and it's pulled in three $8k jobs without chasing ghosts. feels damn good cutting out the angi crap and banking on word from the boys who know real work. scaled it to include my old supply house contacts too, now that's steady flow. proud to say it's my main outreach now, no regrets.

angi is a total scam, those leads are mostly tire-kickers who ghost after you waste time quoting. your referral program's smart, screw the middlemen and stick to pros who actually deliver.

angi leads are straight trash, i had three ghost me on pex jobs last year too. sounds like your $500 deal is the only thing that actually stuck around here.

paying $500 for commercial leads sounds slick but watch the tax hit when uncle sam calls it referral income.

angi's ghost leads are why i laugh when they charge for 'exclusive' crap that never closes.
