I've been chasing roofing leads from Angi for the last year and it's all BS, half the time the homeowner ghosts after I show up with my Malco tools ready to demo the old asphalt shingles. Out here in Arizona the sun beats everything down fast, so folks need re-roofs bad, but these leads cost me $200 a pop and most ain't even serious about a $15k tear-off. Saw a guy in the Roofing Pros Facebook group ranting the same thing, said he ditched them for yard signs and doubled his closes on commercial flat roofs. TBH, if you're not running your own Google ads targeting hail damage claims, you're leaving money on the table. Anyone else waste time on these platforms?

You're spot on, Angi is just glorified spam for roofers, they take your premium payment and feed you tire-kickers who want a $5k patch job.

Ditch Angi and focus on Nextdoor posts with before-after pics of your shingle installs. I get 3 solid roofing leads a week that way, no fees.

Nextdoor works great for local re-roofs, but watch out for the nosy neighbors complaining about noise. Still better than Angi's crap.

Yeah, but Nextdoor leads sometimes expect discounts because 'we're all neighbors'. Set firm prices on those hail-damaged roofs upfront.

Same, brother, lost a whole afternoon driving to Phoenix for an Angi lead that turned out to be a DIYer with a leaky valley. Felt that burn.

Try partnering with local insurance adjusters for storm claims, that's where the real roofing money is without the lead gen BS.

Haha, Angi called me once pretending to be a customer, then tried to sell me their service. What a joke, roofers unite against that crap.
