Sick of fleet tracking software screwing over my roofing crews

I've been running a small roofing outfit for 15 years and just tried switching to Fleetio for our trucks after seeing it hyped in the Roofing Pros Facebook group. Turns out it's a nightmare keeping tabs on the boys hauling CertainTeed shingles up ladders all day. The GPS pings are always lagging, and half the time it flags them as 'idling' when they're actually up on a steep pitch wrestling with ice and water shield. Me and the guys are pissed because now every job site's a potential argument over where the F-150 really was. Swear it's making us slower on tear-offs. Anyone else dealing with this crap in their fleet management?

Fleetio is straight garbage for roofing, man. Switched to Samsara last season and still hate how it nags about 'unauthorized stops' when we're just grabbing lunch between shingle runs.

Same here, these apps treat us like we're stealing time instead of busting ass in the heat. My crew in the Roofing Contractors group all ditched theirs for basic GPS on the trucks, way less drama.
