cold calling roofers in texas for subcontract work: $150/sq at 20% markup?

Been cold calling roofing contractors around the Dallas-Fort Worth area to sub out shingle jobs on their insurance claims. Charging them $150 per square installed with my crew using Owens Corning Duration shingles, and they're balking at the 20% markup over material costs. Anyone else doing cold outreach like this in Texas without getting hung up on?

Those insurance adjusters and GCs in Texas are sharks, always lowballing to squeeze every dime out of subs like us.
